Mike has extensive experience in IT Services and particularly in the area of strategic outsourcing. Mike’s early career started in Retail and Distribution consulting with specific expertise in downsizing IT operations.

After joining Hoskyns Ltd UK, Mike was appointed Programme Manager for one of the largest retail application developments that Hoskyns had undertaken. This was for a major UK builder’s merchant.

In 1989 Mike establishing Hoskyns Retail and Distribution (R&D) Consultancy Division, providing strategic consulting to the major players in the UK and European market. With revenue growth from 4 million ? in 1989 to 46 million ? by 1996, Capgemini UK was the leading IT services company to the Retail and Distribution sector.

After the integration of Hoskyns into the Capgemini Group, Mike took the UK R&D model into Europe and was instrumental in winning the first major European R&D project with a major car manufacturer (18 million ?). The European partnership continued positioning Capgemini as the leading player in this sector. Under Mike’s direction, Capgemini won a strategic opportunity with one of the largest global parcel distribution companies.

Mike then seized the exciting opportunity in 1996 to assist in establishing the Capgemini business in Asia. Using Mike’s strategic deal experience Mike closed a number of mission-critical outsourcing contracts to fuel the growth of the business.

Mike has continued to leverage his experience with ITVEST as its Group Business Development Director, based in Asia, both expanding the Group’s companies and assisting established European partners start their Asian operations.
